The majority of plants offered for sale at
Tabor Perennials are dug from our various gardens and our
small hill site. As early as possible in the spring, we dig,
divide and pot each individual perennial for the garden center.
Of course some plants are ordered from various companies to
increase our supply, or to introduce new additions. We strive
to offer plants zone 5 hardy with many doing extremely well
even in zone 4.
Take a break from from one of your hectic days in the late
spring or summer and treat yourself to a walk around our pleasant
and soul soothing garden center. Sit for a spell... listen
to the birds, or frogs that abound and you just might see
a dragonfly or butterfly tickle a flower. Wander through our
paths to enjoy the many time tested varieties and take a peek
or two at the diversity of shape, leaf and flower of the new.
Our hours for the Tabor Perennials Garden Center are seasonal.
During early spring and summer, we are open weekends from
9 to 5 PM. Generally, by the second week of June, we are open
Wednesday through Sunday. On Mondays and Tuesdays we are closed,
but arrangements can be made to accommodate you on these days
by appointment. We close for the season in early fall or when
our plant supply is too limited whichever comes first!
In addition to our plants, we usually offer a limited selection
of garden accents, hanging baskets, and planters.

| Last
year, Tabor Perennials incorporated an 'Honor System' for patrons
that found our spring hours inconvenient and this has worked
out very well. We appreciate your honesty and integrity and
will continue this policy which allows you to enter our garden
center while we are still at school during the weekdays in May
and June. |
